Each Training for Life instructor undergoes a rigorous Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England training and assessment programme to obtain the skills, knowledge and confidence to guide course members on how to identify and assist individuals who need mental health support, in the workplace and beyond.
After completing the course and subsequent assessment, our instructors are then licensed to deliver MHFA training courses throughout England.
About Mental Health First Aid England
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England is the only accredited instructor training organisation in England and aims to empower one in ten members of the public with mental health awareness and skills.
The MHFA England Instructor Training Programme is designed to provide members of the community from all walks of life with essential mental health first aid skills such as non-judgemental listening, the ability to spot the warning signs of mental ill health, and effective crisis response strategies.
